How to download your TD bank statement as a PDF
If you bank with TD, your monthly statement is the most accurate record of what you actually spent. Downloading it as a PDF takes a few minutes — and once you have the file, you can upload it to Vereloop Finance for automatic transaction parsing, spending categories, and month-over-month trends without manual spreadsheet entry.
TD Canada Trust serves millions of Canadians through EasyWeb online banking and the TD mobile app. Official account statements are stored in TD's document library and include every posted transaction, service charges, and interest entries for the period. That makes a PDF statement far more useful for budgeting than scrolling through recent activity in the app, which only shows a limited window of history.
TD menus change slightly over time, but the flow below matches EasyWeb for personal chequing and savings accounts as of 2026. If your screen looks different, look for Statements, Documents, or My Documents after signing in at td.com.
Download a TD statement (web)
- Sign in at td.com and open EasyWeb online banking.
- From the account list, click the chequing or savings account you want.
- Open Statements & documents — this may appear on the account page directly, or under a More actions or Account services menu.
- Navigate to Account statements and select the statement period you need. Start with the last 2–3 months for a useful spending baseline.
- Click Download PDF, View statement, or the download icon, then save the file to your computer.
- Repeat for each month you want to analyze. TD typically retains several years of statements in EasyWeb.
TD also offers e-statements by default for most accounts, which means your monthly PDF is available online as soon as the statement period closes — no waiting for mail. If you recently switched from paper statements, check that e-statements are enabled under account settings so PDFs appear in your document list.
Hold both a TD chequing account and a TD Every Day Savings account? Download a separate PDF for each. Combined files are harder to reconcile, and Vereloop Finance assigns account types per upload.
Mobile app (TD)
- Open the TD app (TD Canada mobile banking) and sign in.
- Tap Accounts and select your chequing or savings account.
- Scroll or tap More, then look for Statements or Documents.
- Choose the statement month and tap to open the PDF preview.
- Use Share, Save to Files (iOS), or Download (Android) to store the PDF on your device.
Tip: PDFs work better than screenshots — they preserve transaction text so parsers can read dates, amounts, and merchant names reliably. TD's mobile PDF viewer usually includes the full statement, not just the first page.
If the app routes you to EasyWeb in a browser for older statements, complete the download there and save the file locally. The web document centre often has a longer archive than the mobile quick-view.
What to do with the PDF next
A PDF sitting in your Downloads folder does not help you budget. The useful step is turning it into structured data:
- Upload each statement PDF to the Parse page.
- Review auto-assigned spending categories and fix any one-off tags — TD descriptions like "INTERAC E-TRANSFER" or "PREAUTHORIZED PAYMENT" parse well from statement text.
- Analyze trends on the Analyze page — filters by month, category, and account.
- Ask questions with the built-in AI assistant about your uploaded data.

Common issues
- Only see HTML? Use the PDF download option in EasyWeb, not "Print to PDF" from a web page unless PDF is unavailable.
- Joint account? Download from the account that holds most day-to-day spending first. Either holder with online access can retrieve statements.
- Multiple TD accounts? Upload each account's statements separately — Vereloop tracks account type per upload.
- US TD account? This guide covers TD Canada Trust. Cross-border TD Bank (US) statements use a different portal at td.com/us — download from the correct region's site.
- Missing current month? TD posts statements within a few business days after the period ends. If today is early in the month, the latest PDF may not be ready yet.
